Yamaguchi Xavier Memorial Church
Yamaguchi Xavier Memorial Church was built to commemorate 400 years anniversary of Francis Xavier who was a preacher of the Cross. It was burnt down once, but rebuilt with a museum introducing Xavier trace on the 1st floor, and a church decorated with beautiful stained glass on the 2nd floor.

Rurikoji temple・Chinryutei
Rurikoji has 5 storied pagoda and said one of the most beautiful pagoda. It has been designated as national treasure. Chinryutei is historical place located in Kozan park. A secret meeting between Satsuma and Chosyu was held here. Rurikoji temple pagoda／Always open・Free of charge

Joeiji temple
Joeiji temple is said that Masahiro Ouchi, 29th feudal load ordered Sesshu, art master, to build the garden in the mid Muromachi period.

Yamaguchi-shi Saikotei
The building was originally a traditional Japanese-style restaurant called “Gion Saikotei” which was familiar to and popular with people from around 1878 to 1996, the current building was later relocated and refurbished. This Japanese-style restaurant was favored by elder statesmen in the days of the Meiji Restoration such as Kaoru Inoue, Hirobumi Ito, Takayoshi Kido, Aritomo Yamagata and also former Prime Minister such as Giichi Tanaka, Nobusuke Kishi, Eisaku Sato because it was started by a chief cook of the domain of Hagi. 28 calligraphy writings of prominent figures such as Kaoru Inoue, Eisaku Sato and related items are displayed here.
